The demolition is being conducted by John Moriarty & Associates (JMA), a renowned construction team. Plans have been submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) for The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 71-story solar-powered highrise residential building slated for 1428 Brickell Avenue in the heart of the Brickell financial district. Designed by Arquitectonica and developed by Ytech, the 861-foot-tall superstructure will yield approximately 824,681 square feet and contain 284 dwelling units, nearly 30,000 square feet of amenities, and an integrated 6-story garage with 503 parking spaces. Cosentini Associates is the project’s solar energy consultant, and John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor.

Miami-based real estate development firm Ytech, led by Yamal Yidios, has announced The Residences at 1428 Brickell, a 70-story luxury condominium development planned for 1428 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. Designed by Arquitectonica with interiors by Italian architecture firm ACPV ARCHITECTS, the building will be the first-ever high-rise residential tower using solar energy, comprised of a limited collection of 189 fully-finished residences with two- to four-bedroom plus den units ranging from 1,800 to 4,000 square feet, and a penthouse collection of units ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet. John Moriarty Associates, one of the country’s most prolific luxury condominium builders, has been selected as the general contractor. The award-winning engineering firm Cosentini Associates has been chosen as the property’s expert solar energy consultant. Cervera Real Estate serves as the sales team representing the property.

FAA Approves Ytech’s 1,049-Foot Supertall Skyscraper Proposed For 1428 Brickell Avenue

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved a 1,049-foot supertall skyscraper proposed for 1428 Brickell Avenue in Brickell, Miami. Approved as of January 14, 2022, the developer behind the application is Miami-based real estate developer Ytech who was represented by Benjamin Doyle of Capitol Airspace Group. The property is elevated 9-feet above sea level, which would give rise to a 1,040-foot-tall structure, for a maximum cumulative height of 1,049-feet. The interior lot occupies approximately 20% of the city block, spanning 49,983 square feet with frontage along Brickell Avenue. The city block is bound by Southwest 14th Street on the north, Southeast 15th Street on the south and South Miami Avenue on the west.
