Plans Submitted for Grove Village Bimini Block Project in Coconut Grove

Grove Bimini Nassau QOZB, LLC, managed by Sankesh Abbhi of Miami-based private equity firm Abbhi Capital, has submitted plans for the Grove Village Bimini Block Project to the City of Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB). The proposed project, encompassing the addresses 3410 and 3428 Hibiscus St, 3509/3521/3547/3551/3559/3575 and 3587 Thomas Avenue, and 3520/3522/3530/3560 and 3574 Grand Avenue in Miami, aims to modify the existing Major Use Special Permit (MUSP) approved by the City of Miami Commission in 2011. FAA Building Permits Filed For 700-Foot-Tall Structure At Miami Worldcenter Block A

Building permits have been submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for work at Miami Worldcenter Block A, where Miami-based private investment firm Abbhi Capital, led by founder and managing partner Sankesh Abbhi,  is planning a large-scale mixed-use development with multi-family units, office, retail and hotel space. The FAA filing reveals the developer has applied to build a 692-foot-tall structure, or 700 feet above sea level, atop a 2.2-acre site fronting Northeast 1st Avenue between Northeast 10th and 11th Streets, approximately addressed as 100 Northeast 11th Street. Very few details on the project are known, but at the proposed height and factoring in the zoning regulations, a 55 to 60-story tower can be possible for the site with nearly 850 residential units and 1.2 million square feet of new construction.

YIMBY spotted a new rendering of another potential large scale mixed-use project for an undeveloped site in Miami Worldcenter, better recognized as MWC Block A in Park West, Downtown Miami. 2.2-acres of this city block is under the ownership of Miami-based developer and investment firm Abbhi Capital, led by founder and managing partner Sankesh Abbhi, which was assembled by the firm under the Sanaproperty8 LLC between 2020 and 2021 for a total of approximately $44 million. The developer is reportedly planning a mixed-use project with multi-family, office, retail and hotel components, currently in the pre-construction and entitlement phases. The property allows for up to 2 million square feet of development, which would be incorporated into the 27-acre Miami Worldcenter complex.
