Demolition permits have been issued for 300 Biscayne Boulevard, the development site of the upcoming 1,049-foot-tall Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences – Miami’s first skyscraper to reach supertall status. The 100-story mixed-use building is designed by Sieger Suarez Architects  in collaboration with Carlos Ott, and being developed by New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group with Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partner. The scope of work involves the full demolition of a 73-year old, 11,119-square-foot single-story structure tucked at the northwest corner of Biscayne Boulevard and Northeast 3rd Street. The BG Group is listed as the contractor for the work priced at $30,000.

Foundation permits have been filed for Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences, the city’s first supertall skyscraper planned to rise nearly 100 stories and approximately 1,049-feet at 300 Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami. The filing lists New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group as the applicant, who is developing the mixed-use tower with Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partners. The application was submitted on October 27th, indicating there is to be site and soil improvements on several lots totaling 43,791 square feet with Keller North America listed as the contractor at the cost of $5,165,000.

Waldorf Astoria Miami Submitted To Urban Development Review Board And Unveils New Renderings

The highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences has been submitted to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board for approvals. With the application now made public, specific details and new renderings have been revealed for Miami’s first supertall skyscraper. New York City and Miami-based Property Markets Group and Canada-based Greybrook Realty Partners are planning on building a 93-story mixed-use building designed by Sieger Suarez Architects in collaboration with Carlos Ott. The tower would rise 1,036-feet, or 1,048-feet above sea level, and span 1,608,457 square feet across 9 glass offset cubes including 461 residential units, 205 hotel rooms, high-end amenities and 1,321 square feet for commercial uses; an adjacent structure of 431,862 square feet will built for 694 parking spaces.
