Deseo Grande’s expected to finish construction in April 2022, records show. The community comprises a five-story apartment building with 365 units. The future may hold an additional 365 units, although they don’t have expected completion dates.
Several concrete core walls have been erected at Bayfront On Sand Lake, a multi-family luxury residential apartment community under construction at 10900 Turkey Lake Road in Dr. Phillips, Orlando. Designed by Winter Park-based FK Architecture and being developed by Macomb Oakland Sand Lake LLC, an entity owned and managed by real estate developer Mickey Shapiro, the project is comprised of the development of several 4-story lake-front apartment buildings across 16.54-acres of land in between Big Sand Lake and Interstate 4. Development plans filed with the city indicate the community will yield up to to 376 dwelling units.
As it stands today, Cloyd’s Dairy Dump is a defunct landfill located in Orlando, FL. However, soon, it will find new life as a mixed-use residential complex named “Fieldstream Village.”
The Gatherings at Lake Nona is a 55+ community coming soon to Orlando, FL. The community will reach full completion in the third quarter of 2022.
Orlando’s urban core is poised to see new large scale developments as Dallas-based real estate developer Lincoln Property Company may soon begin construction on The Edge, a 34-story mixed-use skyscraper set to rise approximately 400-feet over the Downtown area some time during the fourth quarter of this year. The tower is expected to rise at 225 South Garland Avenue, just north of the developer’s 28-story SunTrust Plaza completed in 2020, replacing the former club/venue replacing the former Ballroom at Church Street Station. Designed by architect Baker Barrios, the project will yield 230 residential units, 200,000 square feet of office space and 4,000 square feet of retail.
