Miami’s Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) has unanimously approved Downtown 6th, a 54-story residential building planned at 46 Northeast 6th Street in the Central Business District of Downtown Miami. Designed by Melo Architecture with G3aec as the architecture of record and developed by Melo Group, the 576-foot-tall building will yield 1,081,913 square feet of space, including 824 residential units, 2,427 square feet of commercial space, and 639 parking spaces with a garage masked with habitable liner.

Melo’s 57-Story ‘Downtown 1st’ Superstructure Continues Vertical Ascent In Downtown Miami

Construction is rising rapidly on Downtown 1st, a 57-story mixed-use building under construction in Downtown Miami’s Central Business District. Developed by the Melo Group, one of the most active real estate developers in South Florida, and designed by their in-house architects, Melo Architecture, the development consists of approximately 743,073 square feet of new construction including nearly 500,000 square feet of residential space across 560 dwelling units, 12,930 square feet of office space, 2,925 square feet of ground floor retail, and 453-vehicle parking garage. The project is addressed as 30 Southwest 1st Street, and will become Melo’s tallest rental skyscraper at completion.¬†

Renderings Revealed For URBAN22 In Edgewater, Miami

Renderings have been revealed via a new proposal for a mixed-use development named URBAN22 in Edgewater, Miami. Officially addressed as 2200 Northeast 2nd Avenue, the plans call for the construction of a 708,119-square-foot structure consisting of two 15-story towers rising from a multi-floor podium. The City of Miami Planning and Zoning Department is currently reviewing the application/proposal for the site, who’s owner are members of the Melo Group filed under Cardinal Plaza Corporation.

Exterior Work Progresses At Melo Group’s 51-Story Downtown 5th

Exterior work is progressing at Downtown 5th, two twin 51-story residential towers addressed as 25 NE 5th Street and 55 NE 5th Street in Miami’s Central Business District. The 1,422,969-square-foot structure rises to is designed by Melo Architecture and developed by Melo Group, yielding 1,042 units and approximately 12,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Melo’s in-house team is handling leasing and marketing for the residences, which range from one-to-three bedroom floor plans, including several duplexes and penthouse level units. The development is bounded by NE 5th Street to the south, NE 6th Street to the north, NE 1st Avenue to the west and N Miami Avenue to the east and is walking distance from the American Airlines Arena and Miami Central Station.
