Newgard Breaks Ground On 44-Story Lofty Brickell At 99 SW 7th Street In Miami

Newgard Development Group has officially broken ground on Lofty Brickell, a 44-story residential building at 99 Southwest 7th Street south of the Miami River in Brickell, Miami. Designed by Arquitectonica with landscape architecture by Urban Robot Associates and interiors by INC, the development will create approximately 854,999 square feet of space, including 362 condominium units, 40,000 square feet of thoughtfully curated amenities, and an enclosed parking garage. Americaribe-Moriarty JV, a joint venture between Bouygues Bâtiment International’s subsidiary Americaribe LLC and John Moriarty & Associates, is the general contractor.

Newgard Development Group’s 42-Story Lofty Brickell Tower Enters The Permitting Stage

New construction permits have been filed for Lofty Brickell, a 42-story, riverfront mixed-use high-rise planned for 99 Southwest 7th Street in Brickell, Miami. Located just steps from Brickell City Centre, the building is designed by internationally acclaimed architecture firm Arquitectonica with carefully curated interiors by design firm INC and landscaping by Urban Robot Associates, and is being developed by Newgard Development Group (Newgard). According to October 19 filing, the 574-foot-tall development is projected to yield 619,200 square feet of space including 362 residential units, which would come in a mix of studio, one and two-bedroom residences ranging between 436 to 985 square feet. Although the application is in the pre-screeing phase, Newgard has selected JV Americaribe-Moriarty JV, a joint venture between the construction firms Americaribe and John Moriarty & Associates, as the general contractor.

Construction is expected to commence in the Spring of 2023 for the Grand Hyatt Miami Beach, a 17-story hotel and commercial development planned for 1701 Convention Center Drive in City Center, Miami Beach. Designed by Arquitectonica with EoA  and Stonehill Taylor as the interior designers and developed by MB Mixed Use Development, LLC, a joint venture between real estate developers Terra Group and Turnberry Associates, the development is projected to yield 702,607 square feet of space including 800 hotel rooms, 90,000 square feet of indoor meeting/conference space across 4 floors and 10,000 square feet of outdoor meeting space, 15,000 square feet of retail space, 5 food and beverage outlets and 320 parking spaces. Miami and Los Angeles-based Americaribe is the general contractor; Hyatt Hotels Corporation will manage operations at the property.
