‘The Rosewood Residences Lido Beach’ Tops Out at 1000 Benjamin Franklin Dr., Sarasota, FL

The Rosewood Residences Lido Beach has topped out in Sarasota County. Florida YIMBY first reported on this venture in June 2022. The 11-story tower will feature 65 three-bedroom and four-bedroom units, with square footage ranging from 3,300 to 5,000 square feet. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that ownership starts at $6.5 million. The most expensive homes hover around $15 million.

Features and finishes include recessed LED lighting, designer flooring, and multi-zoned HVAC systems. Among many communal amenities, residents will have access to multiple swimming pools, a gameroom, and an on-site bistro. The Rosewood Residences Lido Beach includes 250 feet of beachfront property. It will cost more than $173 million to complete.

Prior to groundbreaking, the build site was home to two hotels that have since been demolished. Rosewood Hotels & Resorts will handle the residential services aspect.

The Ronto Group and Wheelock Street Capital are the developers. It acquired the 3.5-acre property for $15 million in 2021. The pair also recently secured $234 million in funding for another Rosewood-branded project in Naples.

Sources indicate that the Rosewood Residences Lido Beach is scheduled for a 2025 delivery. It’ll be located at 1000 Benjamin Franklin Dr., Sarasota, FL, 34236, in Sarasota County.
