For the past few years, Berger Commercial Realty, in partnership with Hernandez Construction, has been developing over 33 acres of lands for commercial use. Located off I-595, the completed project is expected to be over 677,314 square feet.
The behemoth was originally intended to consist of two buildings, called the Bridge Point FLL Logistics Center. However, as time went on, the project went on to comprise three buildings. The first two buildings will measure 290,295 square feet; the third building will be 96,724 square feet.
All three buildings will be outfitted with 32 feet ceilings. The parking lot will have a 1.04/1000 ratio, meaning that there will be about one parking spot per 1,000 square feet. Overall, that will average at about 704 parking spots.
Upon completion, there will be a total of 132 docks, 16 drive-in doors, and 16 trailer parking spots.
There is no information pertaining to whether the buildings are designated as retail locations or as office space. The project was scheduled to be completed in quarter three of 2020, however, construction is still undergoing at the build site.
