Lynwind at Championsgate is presently seeking site plan approvals, the Construction Journal reports. The $120 million luxury complex, located in Polk County, FL, is a mixed-use social club and residential complex. It’s been in the works as early as December 2019 and rests on 26.6 acres of land.

The complex will feature over 2.2 million square feet of new construction, featuring low-rise units that measure two stories above grade. Comprising of multi-family homes, there will be 384 units available. The buildings themselves account for 419,425 square feet of 2.2 million square foot space.
One of the key features of this development is the “clubhouse/social club.” This will require over 6,800 square feet of new construction. This will allow residents to throw events and attend social gatherings without needing to leave the complex. Construction has not yet commenced, as Lynwind at Championsgate is still accepting bids by invitation for the job.

Presently, the complex is owned by the Latigo Group, which is based out of Los Angeles, CA. Records show that the organization has two active projects in the works, totaling $120 million. Most of their projects are in the private entertainment sector, followed closely by residential and commercial ventures.
