Bimini Cove is a new luxury rental development coming soon to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The mixed-use complex will not only feature 140 units but will also comprise exactly 184,259 retail space, per the Construction Journal.
Construction started on the venture in May 2021 and will wrap up in late 2022. The owner, Pinnacle Housing Group, Inc., operates as both the owner and general contractor.
The residential aspect of Bimini Cove will rise eight stores above grade, while the retail aspect will only be one story. The retail stores will comprise 1,700 square feet; the residences, 182,559. The development rests on 2.8 acres of land and rests right across the New River south fork. In total, the project will cost $27 million.
Prospective residents have the option of choosing from one to two-bedroom units. There are 80 one-bedroom units and 58 two-bedroom units. There are presently two penthouse units available. At the time of publication, there was no information as to how much these units would cost per month.
In addition to the lush landscaping, marina access, and two-story fitness center, residents will enjoy the “Sunset Lounge.” This communal area, located on the top floor, features a wet bar, coffee station, and gaming area.
