Construction is ongoing on Shoppes of Bougainvillea Phase II. The one-story shopping center began construction back in November 2020. The venture has been in the works since 2017, according to the Port Saint Lucie City Council. Comprising 12,690 square feet of new construction, the venture intends to bring in more tax revenue, as well as create new jobs.
Shoppes of Bougainvillea Phase II, which has been defined as a “shopping center/strip mall” by the Construction Journal, will rest on 1.38 acres of land. In total, 13 units have been set aside for commercial and retail purposes. There is no information as to what will occupy those spaces.

The project is owned by Shoppes of Bougainvillea II LLC, which is based locally in Port Saint Lucie. This is their only active project in the works, costing an estimated $1.7 million to build, according to the Construction Journal. Shoppes of Bougainvillea II LLC partnered with three other Florida-based organizations on the venture.
Shoppes of Bougainvillea II LLC’s physical address is 1392 Southwest Bougainvillea Avenue, Port Saint Lucie, FL, 34953. In terms of relative proximity, it will be located in a heavily residential area comprising mostly of houses and apartments. It will also be located in Saint Lucie County.
