The Watermark at West Palm Beach is one step closer to completion, the Construction Journal reports. The assisted living facility first sought zoning variances in December 2019 and began construction in the first quarter of 2021. Hopefully, the project will commence operations later in 2022. The $39 million venture boasts “luxury senior living in the heart of West Palm Beach.” The eight-story residential complex requires over 224,000 square feet of new construction and will provide 154 units. The site itself measures 1.24 acres.
There’s a host of amenities that both residents and their guests can enjoy. The hotel-inspired complex features a salon, spa, wellness center, and concierge service. Residents can also enjoy sunset cocktails and five-course meals, depending on their daily preferences. The venture’s website notes that it has been serving seniors for over 30 years.
Zom Development––South Florida owns the venture, with nine other active projects in the works. Most of its ventures are in the residential sector. It has partnered with four other organizations on the building’s design, development, and construction. All entities are based out of South Florida.
The Watermark at West Palm Beach’s location is 401 Datura Street, West Palm Beach, FL, 33401. It will be located in Palm Beach County in the Clematis Street District.
