Sunset at Casa Del Mar is a luxury gated community coming soon to Fort Myers, FL. The $23 million complex will comprise 114 townhomes. The townhomes themselves measure two stories above grade and feature two-bedroom and three-bedroom layout plans.
Per the development’s website, construction was slated to begin in 2020 but was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Construction Journal reports that the project is presently “seeking site plan approvals.”
Future residents can enjoy a community center and swimming pool. Additionally, the complex is within walking distance of Lakes Regional Library, a popular library in Lee County. The community is also lined with neighborhood walking trails.
Civil engineer EnSite published its conceptual renderings for the project online. The Fort Myers-based organization has five active projects right now, mostly in the private, public municipal, and public county sectors. It’s working alongside Network Management Constructors Corp and Bonness Inc. on the endeavor. The latter two entities are also based in Florida.
News-Press reported that southwest Florida is seeing a huge housing boom amid the pandemic. Naples, FL, for instance, has seen a “150 percent increase in activity since last year.” Sunset at Casa Del Mar hopes to meet the housing demand in the area.
The Construction Journal lists the development’s address as Bass Road, Fort Myers, FL, in Lee County.
