Sandlake Royal Shoppes in Orlando, FL, (called “Royal Shoppes” in some sources) is nearing completion, according to the Construction Journal. The two-story development will provide retail amenities and office spaces to those living in the area, comprising more than 30,000 square feet of new construction.
The ground floor will measure 20,300 square feet, dedicated to retail stores. The second floor will measure 10,000 square feet and include office space, owner MIR Development explains. The building is strategically placed within a few miles of the Florida Mall for “maximum exposure.”
Individual units run from 1,062 square feet to 5,472 square feet each. In March 2020, Brevitas noted that 14 commercial units were available, although this has likely changed since then.
Construction will hopefully conclude by the fourth quarter of 2021. The 2.34-acre plot was undeveloped land before the project commenced construction. It will cost anywhere from $1 million to $5 million to complete.
This isn’t MIR Development’s only project. It’s also working on Sandlake Station Condominiums, a 196-unit residential complex. The venture will require three multi-level buildings on 18 acres of land, featuring apartments and townhomes.
Sandlake Royal Shoppes’ location is 505 West Sand Lake Road and Winegard Road, Orlando, FL, 32089. It will be located in Orange County.
