A new housing development is coming soon to Port Charlotte, FL. Swiftwater Apartments will comprise over 66,000 square feet of new construction, spread across 12 three-story buildings. Residents can also make use of the 3,000-plus-square-foot clubhouse.
Amenities also include a resort-style communal pool, game room with a billiards table, coffee bar, and 24/7 fitness center. NorthMarq reports that the community hopes to provide housing to those living in Central Florida, which is seeing a huge population boom in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to Charlotte County, the build site measures about 21 acres and will comprise 288 Class A housing units. Earlier this month, Florida Construction News reported that Swiftwater Apartments cost around $34 million, and the developers secured an additional $10 million in preferred equity.
The apartments will become available in the third quarter of 2023. The complex is owned by KL West Port LLC, which is based out of Delray Beach. Right now, the organization has five active projects, mostly in the private residential and entertainment sectors.
The Construction Journal reports that Swiftwater Apartments is presently in its permitting phase. Kittle Property Group is the complex’s developer. Per the organization’s website, it has over 155 communities nationwide, with four located in Florida.
Swiftwater Apartments’ address is 16325 Franklin Avenue, Port Charlotte, FL, 33953 in Charlotte County.
