Catalina at Fort Worth is a luxury housing development coming to Fort Worth, FL. The development (which has an estimated value of $52 million) began construction earlier this year. Atlantic Crystal Construction Corps, which is based in Coral Gables, serves as the project’s general contractor.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, Catalina at Fort Worth comprises 370 apartment units, 80 of which are designated as affordable housing units. The build site itself rests on about 30 acres of land, with developer Florida Crystals Corporation having purchased the land for about $16 million in 2018. The land previously belonged to the Florida Department of Transportation.
The Journal notes that Florida Crystals Corporation is an offshoot of FCI Residential, a multi-family housing developer. Florida Crystals Corporation is a sugarcane refining giant. By partnering with FCI Residential, the organization has the opportunity to focus on ventures outside the agricultural sector.

On-site amenities include a resort-style pool, clubhouse, children’s playground, and two lakes. It also comes with an outdoor trail system, where residents and guests can enjoy scenic walks. The build site will also be home to a pre-school and coffee shop.
RF Architects and Insite Studio designed the community. Both organizations are located in South Florida. Conceptual renderings reveal multi-level buildings with barrel-tiled roofs. Some units come equipped with balconies, while others have ground-level patios.
