Mystery Fun House opened its doors in 1976, offering quirky, eccentric family fun to those in the Orlando, FL, area. Now, after being defunct for nearly 20 years, the premises will soon be home to a new multi-family housing complex. Meet Bainbridge Sand Lake.
The $100 million complex will offer 397 housing units, per the Orlando Sentinel––Orange County Edition. The units will be spread across multiple five-story buildings.
Units range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. At this time, square footage is not publicly available. Apartments.com notes that for similar units in the area, rent ranges from $1,062 to $3,068 a month. Bainbridge Sand Lake may or may not fall within these parameters.
Per the development’s website, the community has already started construction. It’s owned by the Bainbridge Companies, which has three active projects in the private sector. Bainbridge Construction, LLC is the general contractor. The project’s slated to open in 2023.
The Construction Journal reports that the 5.70-acre site will comprise over 15,000 square feet of amenities, including a pool, dog park, and bocce ball court. Plans are also underway for a multi-story parking garage and a 13,780-square-foot leasing office.
Bainbridge Sand Lake’s address is listed as 7575 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL, 32819, in Orange County.
