SkydiveXperience to Undergo Construction at 8526 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL

SkydiveXperience will start construction in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Construction Journal reports. The venture, costing anywhere from $1 million to $5 million, will offer state-of-the-art amenities unlike anything else in the United States. The center focuses on delivering a safe, indoor skydiving experience. Visitors will don “wingsuits” where they “fly” for several minutes at a time.

The project requires about 30,000 square feet of new construction. It includes three parts: a wingsuit wind tunnel, a vertical wind tunnel, and the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame. The museum aspect will feature the achievements of 84 skydiving legends.

The venture includes a museum with various interactive experiences and artifacts

Jim McCormick, one of the project’s development managers, told the Osceola News-Gazette that visitors will “experience conventional freefall and a sense of weightlessness and levitation.”

Construction will deliver amenities in several phases. The wingsuit tunnel will likely open first, followed by the museum and vertical wind tunnel. Osceola County is seeing many upcoming amenities, ranging from attractions to hotels.

Per the Construction Journal’s records, the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame owns the venture. This is the organization’s only active project right now. The attraction’s address is listed as 8526 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL, in Osceola County.
