Suwannee Pointe is an affordable housing development coming to Live Oaks, Florida. The 36-unit community features 16 one-bedroom homes and 20 three-bedroom homes. They range from 996 square feet to 1,190 square feet. Each home comes with two bathrooms. Residences also come with vinyl plank flooring, ceiling fans, low-flow water fixtures, and Energy Star appliances. Interested parties can request rent information online.
Construction began on Suwannee Pointe in Spring 2021, with Royal American Construction Company, Inc. operating as the general contractor. The $5.5 million venture is nearing completion. According to the venture’s website, amenities include a children’s playground, dog park, business center, fitness center, laundry facility, and an open-air courtyard.
The community will comprise 36 affordable housing units.
The community will comprise five two-story buildings. In total, the neighborhood requires more than 42,000 square feet of new construction. Mucasey & Associates designed the venture. The Houston-based organization presently has 10 active projects.
Suwannee Pointe isn’t the only project Royal American has. It has multiple communities across the American southwest, with residences in Alabama, Colorado, Arkansas, and even internationally in the Virgin Islands.

Suwannee Pointe’s address is 900 Silas Drive Southwest, Live Oak, Florida, 32064, in Suwannee County. In terms of relative location, it’s south of Interstate 10 and southeast of the Suwannee County Airport.
