Gardenia Park To Offer 46 Townhomes at 501 Northwest 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Gardenia Park is continuing construction in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The venture, which will cost over $9 million to complete, will yield more than 40 townhouses. Beginning at around $513,000 each, units range from 1,754 to 1,795 square feet––costing $294 per square foot.

According to D.R. Horton’s website, there are two floorplans to choose from: Lily and Wisteria. Lily’s floorplans measure 1,795 square feet, comprising two-story townhomes with three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a one-car garage. Wisteria is also a two-story townhome, except that it measures 1,754 square feet. It includes four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a one-car garage.

Amenities include a swimming pool.

Each unit comes with ceramic tile flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and built-in smart home technology. Communal amenities include a swimming pool, bike rack, and mail kiosk.

In total, the community requires more than 96,000 square feet of new construction. Google Earth’s renderings show that, before construction began, there were structures already at the build site. It’s unclear whether those structures were demolished or integrated into the new community.

There are two layout plans to choose from.

D.R. Horton owns Gardenia Park and is also serving as the general contractor. It partnered with Specialty Engineering Consultants, Inc., the project’s architect. Conceptual renderings show modern low-rise stucco homes.

Gardenia Park’s address is 501 Northwest 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33311, in Broward County.
