Construction began in February 2022 on Azure Oceanfront Residences, a luxury community offering 26 units. The units, comprising two-bedroom to five-bedroom models, start at $3.7 million each. Although site work has scarcely begun, the Florida Times-Union noted that as of March 7, 2022, only one unit remained unsold.
Homes offer private balconies, private access elevators, floor-to-ceiling windows with beachfront views, and walk-in closets. According to the venture’s website, homes have 2,572 square feet to 4,670 square feet of interior space.
Communal amenities include a steam room, sauna, game room, and open-air gathering spaces. There are also 24-hour concierge services for residents and their guests. The Florida Times-Union notes that this will be the last beachfront condominium in Jacksonville Beach, Florida.
Per the development’s website: “Not only is Azure the first of its kind, it’s also the very last of its scale that will be built on Jacksonville Beach. This is the first, last, and best opportunity to purchase an oceanfront condominium home at a whole new level of luxury.”
Arquitectonica Headquarters is the architect. The Miami-based developer has shared conceptual renderings online, showing a high-rise beachfront building with glass balconies. Related Group of Florida is the developer, and Craft Construction Corporation is the general contractor.
Azure Oceanfront Residence’s address is 1401 1st Street, Jacksonville Beach, Florida, 32250, in Duval County.
