Construction Continues on Carver Square in Delray Beach, Florida, 33444

Carver Square, an affordable single-family housing community, is unfolding in Delray Beach, Florida. Plans include 20 homes measuring one to two stories above grade. According to the community’s website, homes range from 1,447 square feet to 2,386 square feet each.

Options range from three- to five-bedroom options, and all homes come with a two-car garage. There are four models to choose from: the Browning, the Chapman, the Hamden, and the Thompson. There are variations of each.

The venture’s website notes that the community rests on just under nine acres. Per the Sun-Sentinel, homes cost $166,110 to $308,490––which is well below current market prices. PulteGroup owns the venture.

The firm, based in Bonita Springs, opened MerryPlace Estates in West Palm Beach, Florida, last year. The community offered 34 townhomes and two single-family homes. PulteGroup is also doubling as the builder.

One of the homes; the Browning

Construction began on five homes in February 2022. The rest of the homes in Carver Square will be completed either by the end of this year or by the end of 2023. The entire venture’s estimated to cost at least $5 million to complete. Many of the contractors working on the venture will be based in South Florida.

Carver Square’s address is Southwest 2nd Street & Southwest 8th Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida, 33444, in Palm Beach County.
