Toby and Leon Cooperman Medical Arts Pavilion To Open Early 2024 in Boca Raton, FL

Thanks to a generous donation from philanthropists Toby and Leon Cooperman, Boca Raton Regional Hospital will soon be home to the “Toby and Leon Cooperman Medical Arts Pavilion.” The venture broke ground in April 2021, per Boca Voice. Ideally, it will open its doors in early 2024.

Upon completion, the free-standing building will offer a wealth of services to those in the area, primarily services for special needs children and families. The center will also host medical specialty clinics, physician offices, a surgical center, and a multi-story parking garage with over 380 spots.

Construction began on the facility in 2021.

NELSON Worldwide, the architect, has shared conceptual renderings with various media outlets. Renderings show a mid-rise building with courtyards, outdoor seating, and native tree landscaping. The venture’s estimated to cost $35.9 million, made possible with the Coopermans’ donation and assistance from various donors.

There are many entities involved in this project. Boca Raton Regional Hospital is the project’s owner, presently overseeing two projects: this one and the Gloria Drummond Patient Tower. The latter project is a high-rise medical building requiring more than 430,000 square feet of new construction.

Other entities working on the medical arts pavilion include Urban Design Studio of South Florida (the land planner) and Moss & Associates (the general contractor). The Toby and Leon Cooperman Medical Arts Pavilion’s address is 745 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL, 33486, in Palm Beach County.

  1. The Coopermans are the best. They have been great with their philanthropy in NJ. They gave $100M to St Barnabas Hospital last year.
