La Baia has started construction in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida. The venture offers 68 luxury units that have already sold out, having gone on sale in October 2021. Homes range from 1,100 square feet to 2,500 square feet, offering one-bedroom to four-bedroom units. Residences come with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, and Bal Harbour. They also come with wood plank flooring, imported cabinets, and high ceilings.
The seven-story building will offer 30,000 square feet of amenities, including a fitness center, dog grooming station, spa, and lounge. Plans also include a 6,000-square-foot rooftop amenity deck and a 20-boat slip. La Baia is scheduled to end construction in November 2023.
Suffolk Construction Company is the general contractor. Continuum Company is the owner, and Revuelta Architecture International Inc. designed the community. Continuum Company is based in New York, while the two other organizations are stationed in South Florida.
The South Florida Business Journal reported that the demand for luxury homes in Miami has skyrocketed over the last six months. It notes that more out-of-state people are coming to the region, and empty nesters want comfortable accommodations without the hassle of homeownership.
La Baia’s address is 9201 East Bay Harbor Drive, Bay Harbor Islands, Miami, Florida, 33154, in Miami-Dade County.
