Construction could start on Palm Springs Residences later this year. The venture requires demolishing a YMCA that will relocate elsewhere in Palm Beach County, Florida. When finished, the development will comprise more than 260,000 square feet of new construction. It’s owned by the Spear Group and Mast Capital, which are working with other Florida-based organizations on the venture.
Plans show 11 three-story buildings that will offer 264 units, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units. The South Florida Business Journal reports that two-bedroom models are the most common, comprising 120 of the 264 homes. Conceptual renderings show that the building will be garden-style apartments.
In addition to the 445 parking spots, amenities include a community pool, children’s playground (called a “tot lot” in the blueprints), dog park, and a manmade lake. Many homes will come with lakeside views. Plans also include a clubhouse. The development will rest on about 18 acres.
Involved entities in the venture include MSA Architects, Architectural Alliance, and HSQ Group. SGM Engineering and Diversified Structural Design Inc. are the MEP engineer and structural engineer, respectively.
Palm Spring Residences’ address is 2085 South Congress Avenue, Palm Springs, Florida, 33406, in Palm Beach County. It’s west of I-95.
