Sunseeker Resort in Port Charlotte, Florida, is accepting reservations for May 2023. While still under construction, the hotel offers over 770 units. They include 720 condo units (which can also double as hotel rooms at owners’ discretion) and 75 standard hotel rooms. Plans show that in the coming years, the resort could add even more hotel rooms, bringing that number up to around 300.
News-Press reported that the venture broke ground in March 2019, with Florida Premier Construction operating as the general contractor. Records show that the development will cost around $600 million to complete.
The ”Sunsuites” range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom layout plans, featuring private balconies, waterfront views, and stainless steel appliances. Sunseeker Resort’s website notes that these rooms “marry the comforts of a full-time residence with the laid-back luxury of resort life in Charlotte Harbor.”
They are designed for both short-term and long-term stays. The venture’s website notes that rooms start at about $219 a day––although this number could change the closer the destination gets to opening.
Sunseeker Resorts offers more than high-end accommodations. It also offers retail stores, restaurants, and other amenities, such as a resort-style pool, golf course, and fitness center. There are also marina slips for permanent residents who own boats.
Sunseeker Resort’s address is 4949 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Florida, 33980, in Charlotte County.
