Anclote Harbor apartments is a $155 million venture planned for Southwest Florida. The multifamily residential development will comprise more than 400 luxury units spread across four-story five buildings. The homes will range from one-bedroom to three-bedroom homes, which the website describes as “superior to any garden-style apartment community in Tampa Bay.”
Amenities include a dog park, private canoeing and kayaking areas, boat slips, a playground, and a co-working business center. It also features a 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, a resort-style pool, and a 2,000-square-foot fitness center. There are also more than 200 parking spots, many of which are either in a parking garage or on-surface parking.
The venture rests on a 72.62-acre lot. Of that acreage, 42.09 acres are uplands, and 30.53 acres are wetlands. Sources note that developers requested to have the area changed from general business zoning a residential planned development district.
The Morgan Group, Inc. owns the venture. The Houston-based developer has communities in several states, overseeing 20,000 units. Forum Architecture & Interior Design, Inc. is the architect, and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is the civil engineer.
Anclote Harbor apartments has not yet started construction. The venture’s address is 42501 US Highway 19 North, Tarpon Springs, Florida, 34689, in Pinellas County. It’s west of Salt Lake and slightly northwest of Lake Tarpon.
