The first phase of Mahogany Pointe Logistics Park is continuing construction in Central Florida. The phase will offer two buildings (measuring 150,480 square feet and 156,960 square feet each) and serve as class A industrial space, offering rear-loading decks, speed bays, and various other amenities.
The venture’s second phase will comprise most of the project, offering five buildings measuring between 200,000 to 883,000 square feet each. Per the project’s brochure: “Mahogany Pointe is equipped with the latest amenities to supplement the customer experience and boost employee retention.”
The Orlando Business Journal reports that construction on the first phase could finish by the end of the fourth quarter. The entire project could reach completion in 2024. Upon completion, Mahogany Pointe Logistics Park will feature seven buildings total and offer more than 2.7 million square feet of new construction. Sources report that the venture will cost more than $160 million to complete.
Link Logistics and Famlee Investment Co. are the two developers. Kimley-Horn––Orlando is the civil engineer. Link Logistics is based in New York, while the other involved parties are based locally in Orlando.
Developers report that the venture’s biggest “plus” is its location. Its distance from major highways makes it ideal for many eCommerce organizations to set up shop. It’s also conveniently located near Orlando International Airport. Mahogany Pointe Logistics Park’s address is 5501 Lee Vista Boulevard, Orlando, Florida, 32812, in Orange County.
