Developers are excited to proceed with Artea at Southbank, a $75 million development slated for Jacksonville, Florida. The Florida Times-Union reports that the venture will rest on a four-acre build site and comprise 340 residential units.
Layout plans range from studios to two-bedroom homes. Communal amenities comprise a swimming pool, rooftop amenity deck, dog park, and walking trails. Plans also call for a four-story, 425-spot parking garage.

The garage will be owned and operated by the Jacksonville Transportation Authority, per The Jaxson. Andy Allen, the CEO of Corner Lot Development Group, told media outlets that Artea at Southbank goes “above and beyond” when it comes to on-site activities.
Sources report that Summit Contracting Group, the general contractor, could start construction in January 2023. Marquis Latimer & Halback, Inc. and Dynamik Design designed the community. Conceptual renderings show a four-story building resting overlooking an intersection.
The venture will offer more than 300 residential units.
Involved parties on Artea at Southbank include Chance Partners LLC (one of the developers) and EnVision Design + engineering (the civil engineer). In March 2022, the Florida Times-Union reported that developers hope to finish construction in the third quarter of 2024. If site work starts in January 2023, that would give the general contractor about 18 months to finish the venture.
Artea at Southbank is located at the intersection of Montana Avenue and Broadcast Place in Jacksonville, Florida, 32207, in Duval County.
