Reunion Resort is getting a $1 billion expansion in Kissimmee, Florida. The five-phase project will focus on a 31.6-acre lot surrounding the on-site Crystal Lagoon. Per Rebusiness Online, plans call for 1,800 vacation rentals, a hotel, and an amphitheater for all-season-long events.
Condos comprise one- to two-bedroom layout plans. The six buildings (which will house the condos) will measure anywhere from five to 10 stories above grade, per the Orlando Sentinel. The expansion will start in early 2024 and take several years to finish.
Disney Food Blog reports that the Disney World-adjacent expansion offers transportation to the nearby theme parks. The first phase alone will cost just over $14 million to build.
As it stands, Reunion Resort has “thousands of luxury homes, villas and condominiums; three championship golf courses; seven food-and-beverage outlets; waterparks; 11 pools; a rooftop pool and private club faculty; and conference areas.”
It also spans more than 2,000 acres. Real Estate Weekly reports that involved parties in the expansion include LV Lending and Kingwood Orlando Reunion Resort LLC. Reunion Resort’s address is 7593 Gathering Drive, Kissimmee, Florida, 34747, in Osceola County.
The venture’s directly south of Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Zip Line and southwest of Celebration, FL.
