Sono Development Group is proceeding with The Signature Orlando, a mixed-use high-rise venture in Central Florida. Plans call for a 19-story tower that will comprise 182 residential units, ranging from two-bedroom to four-bedroom apartments.
In January 2021, Bungalower reported that rent would hover around $1,000 a month, although this may have changed with current market inflation. Rent covers internet, laundry, and various utilities. Residents can also opt for cleaning services for a nominal monthly fee.
Many of The Signature Orlando’s communal amenities are located on the sixth floor, featuring a residents-only dog park. Other amenities include a yoga area and various co-working and meeting spaces. Sources report that the venture could cost $70 million to complete.
At the time of publication, some sources noted that as of December 8, 2022, the project was on hold. Flux Architects designed the community. On its website, it notes that in addition to the 182 units, the tower will offer 7,000 square feet of retail, 7,000 square feet of office space, and a 252-spot parking garage. Kimley-Horn is the civil engineer.
The Signature at Orlando could take shape at 401 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida, 32801, in Orange County. Google Earth shows that there’s already a building on the build site, which may require demolition prior to construction.
