Aura Cypress Creek Could Offer More Than 300 Units at 400 Corporate Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Developers hope to move ahead with Aura Cypress Creek, a luxury multifamily housing complex in northern Fort Lauderdale. Per the Sun-Sentinel, the community would offer 340 homes and ground floor commercial space. Communal amenities would include a swimming pool, coworking lounge, and summer kitchen.

The South Florida Business Journal notes that this would all rest on a 6.8-acre plot, which currently sits next to a 298-key Westin hotel. Aura Cypress Creek will share a parking garage with the hotel.

The venture will rest on a plot measuring nearly seven acres.

The mixed-use venture could cost $100 million. Sources note that construction could start in early 2023, with the process taking anywhere from 12 months to 18 months to complete. PFL VII LLC is the project’s owner.

Trinsic Residential Group is the developer, and it’s also expected to act as the general contractor. The Dallas-based organization hopes to get the parcel’s rezoning modified from “residential medium high 25 units per acre” to “mixed-use residential high 60 units per acre.”

The venture will share a parking garage with the nearby Westin hotel.

At this time, publications list Aura Cypress Creek’s address as 400 Corporate Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33334, in Broward County. The community is directly west of Pine Crest School and adjacent to I-95. It’s also north of Oakland Park.
