Motocave is a luxury car condo service slated for St. Petersburg, Florida. Developers note that the homes will allow owners to store their luxury vehicles and spend time there. While residency is prohibited, owners can spruce up their areas with furniture and other belongings.
Sources report that the project would offer 43 units, measuring about 920 square feet to 1,600 square feet each. In total, the facility will comprise 55,000 square feet divided among five buildings.
There is also a 2,220-square-foot clubhouse, outfitted with various amenities. The venture, an “experimental storage concept,” is a partnership between DDA Development, Mosk Development, and Commercial Partners Realty, Inc.
Innovative Design Studios, Inc. is the architect, and Atlas Construction is the general contractor. The Tampa Bay Business Journal notes that construction started in September 2022.
Opening is slated for some time in 2023, either in the third or fourth quarter. Units start at $350,000 and, as noted, allow customers to customize them. Customizable features include bars, lounges, and audio systems.
At the time of publication, developers had sold at least 40 percent of the units––about 17. Motocave will cost at least $7 million to complete. It will be located at 2051 Gandy Boulevard North, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33702, in Pinellas County.
The complex is directly east of Florida 275 and west of Picnic Island Park.
