The Manhattan is an age-restricted residential complex slated for St. Petersburg. The 243 homes will be housed in a 10-story building, ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units.
Of those 243 homes, most are independent living units. Others include assisted living units and congregate units. Per the community’s website, homes measure 1,000 square feet to more than 2,300 square feet each.
They come outfitted with wet bars, a butler’s pantry, walk-in closets, granite countertops, and more. Prices for the luxury homes start at $290,000.
Communal amenities include an on-site barber shop and salon, a 116-seat theater, a full-service fitness center, and a heated swimming pool. Sources note that construction could start in Fall 2023, with completion slated for 2024.
Google Earth shows that, at this time, the future build site presently features a McDonald’s. This may require demolition prior to the general contractor breaking ground. The Manhattan could cost $97.3 million to complete.
LiveStar Living is the owner. The Sarasota-based organization presently has two active projects in its pipeline: this one and another multi-family complex in Pinellas County. Per St. Pete Rising, the Manhattan’s address is 4595 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33711, in Pinellas County.
The complex is west of Florida 275 and east of the Boca Ciega Bay Aquatic Preserve.
