Onda Residences, a 41-unit residential building project developed by Ugo Colombo of CMC Group and Valerio Morabito of Morabito Properties, has topped off construction at eight stories. Located along Biscayne Bay at 1135 103rd Street, the architect behind the project is Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica. Enzo Enea of Enea Garden Design is designing landscape architecture, and Carlo and Paolo Colombo of A++ Human Sustainable Architecture are handling interior design. Coastal Construction is the development’s general contractor and will complete construction later this year.
“Once complete, Onda will be a coveted residential retreat in one of Miami’s most desirable neighborhoods,” said developer Ugo Colombo, Founder of CMC Group. “The building’s boutique lifestyle, idyllic bayfront location, and timeless design will make it a standout property for years to come,” added developer Valerio Morabito, CEO of Morabito Properties.
The residential units will have floorplans that range from two to four bedrooms plus a den, and their size will range from 1,809 to 3,535 square feet. There are also four penthouse residences, measuring up to 5,073 square feet, and two of these penthouses come with private rooftop pool decks.
Each dwelling unit will have an office or den, private or semi-private fast elevators, high-strength sliding glass doors and windows, and ample tiled terraces with private gardens. Additionally, the units will have open floor plans with ceiling heights up to 9 feet, Snaidero kitchens that come fully equipped with Miele appliances, Italian marble, and wood cabinets in the bathrooms, beautiful Italian flooring throughout, as well as efficient air conditioning and heating systems with ultra-quiet technology, and air and water filtration systems.
Onda Residences is in a prime location on Bay Harbor Islands and offers sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean, with over 300 linear feet of bay frontage. One of the most attractive amenities of Onda is its private marina, which has 15 boat slips exclusively available for residents to purchase. In addition, a water sports launch dock is equipped with kayaks, paddleboards, and inflatables, with direct ocean access through Miami’s Haulover inlet.
The building will offer various amenities, including a rooftop pool deck and lounge area, a well-equipped fitness center with Technogym machines, a yoga studio, and a spa that houses massage treatment rooms, a steam bath, sauna rooms, and changing facilities. Onda also promises personalized services, advanced security and technology, a front desk reception, a covered valet drop-off area, personal parking spaces, electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle storage, and residential storage space. In addition, the building will provide an integrated digital concierge, WiFi accessibility throughout all public areas, and FTTH technology that supports voice, video, and high-speed internet.
In 2016, Colombo and Morabito collaborated to develop Beach House 8, a small waterfront condo building on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. CMC Group recently completed the construction of Brickell Flatiron, a 64-story upscale tower in the Brickell Financial District of Downtown Miami. The company is preparing to begin constructing Vita at Grove Isle, a condo project situated on the exclusive Grove Isle in Miami’s Coconut Grove area. Morabito is also working on Wyncatcher, a mixed-use office development in Miami’s Wynwood Arts District.
