Poinciana Lakes Plaza Undergoes Construction at 325 Cypress Parkway, Poinciana, Florida

Poinciana Lakes Plaza is a commercial endeavor slated for Central Florida. While the 33-acre build site is mostly undeveloped, when construction ends, it’ll offer 240,000 square feet of new construction.

Plans call for two shopping centers, along with “6 out-parcel buildings.” That means the venture will yield eight buildings. It will also feature 1,143 parking spots. Sources report that construction started on October 2022.

The venture could cost $60 million to complete.

TCII reports the delivery’s expected in December 2023. Estimates show that Poinciana Lakes Plaza will cost anywhere from $55 million to $60 million to complete. TCII Capital Group is the owner. It notes that Poinciana Lakes Plaza will be located in an area where retail stores are scarce.

With more than 10,000 homes in the area, residents will benefit from the various amenities. At this time, potential tenants include Ulta, Crunch Fitness, and Five Below. A grocery store could also be in the cards.

Construction started in October 2022.

In total, there will be 20 retail tenants. Kimley-Horn Ocala is the civil engineer. Poinciana Lakes Plaza’s address is 325 Cypress Parkway, Poinciana, Florida, 34759, in Polk County. The development is east of Lake Tohopekaliga and west of the Lake Marion Creek Wildlife Management Area. It’s also near HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital.

How about new roads to get in and out of Poinciana?

  4. It’s a great idea to finally get this here in Poinciana. But we REALLY, need more road to get In and out. We have more than enough congestion as it is, and daily accidents due to Poincianas road necessity.

  5. Agree with all the above. I moved out of Poinciana due to the daily accidents, traffic congestion. The decent, hard-working people if that community deserve better. Calling out Brandon Arrington and other leaders of that community to do right by the people!!

  6. Where’s the forever promised movie theater?

Awesome!! More Store’s are Needed..But So Are More Roads ! Too Many People Here in Poinciana….

  8. Great that more stores are coming. We need some stores too in village 8. And I agree, roads are diffinately needed; too many accidents everyday.

    • What ever happened to the movie theater they was going to be behind the Walgreens??????????

    • I just moved here and the traffic is so bad and that toll road makes no sense in the back if I stay in marigold I wish that I knew before I moved over here.

  9. Definitely more roads, instead of that crunch fitness why not a planet fitness.

    • Great news.we Really need more road to get in and out. We have more than enough congestion as it is,and daily accidents

  10. Seriously, where are our tax dollars going? And why isn’t there a Target, Marshalls, Chicfila, Ross or any restaurants on the list? The supposed movie theater or bowling alley would just end up a ghost town like the old Osceola Square mall. I hope they don’t build either of those

  11. Hello, Can you please give me the website where to apply for the future stores? Thank you in advance

  12. We need a super target and trader joes. Also bealls. Thsnk you

  13. With the pending construction of a shopping Mall for this area…has there been any plans for the seniors living here at Solivita and other close developments to get across Cypress Pkwy, safely. There are some who use Golf Carts, others who can still ambulate ,perhaps slower than others but would surely like to shop. Suggestion: An UNDERPASS near our Front Gate would meet the challenge of crossing that wide traffic area. the stores suggested would be a blessing.

  14. A breakfast spot would be a nice addition just as peach valley

  15. Tell me the list of stores

  16. We have to go too far for a TD BANK and a good family Restaurant namely Red lobster and I hop.

  17. Que otras tiendas o restaurantes estarán ocupando los locales? Estará listo para finales de este año como lo planificaron? Gracias!

I agree with some people here. We need a Planet Fitness not a Crunch Fitness. Movie theater is a must and of course, with all the new homes, Poinciana needs more roads and highways to be more accessible.

  19. We need more family restaurants like I hope, chilis and stores like Ross, ti Max and Burlington

  20. We need a Winn-Dixie a Target on Marshall Ross IHOP Red lobster sage the new dentist we don’t need exercise gyms solivita has it all we don’t need movies it too expensive no one goes to the movie anyway we need New roads and a bus to and from the shopping plaza route that’s where your money is going to be spent on these type of stores take a survey before you put stores in the plaza and you’ll see what the community needs not just guess or you lose a lot of money in the interim interim

  21. A Costco, First Watch, Ross, Target,
Movie Theater, would all be welcome!
Something really has to be done about traffic!!!

  22. What about restaurants like a longhorn steakhouse an outback a Millers ale House

    • I agree with more restaurants. It’s annoying to have to go to Davenport or Campionsgate to eat something other than fast food! And absolutely a movie theater or bowling alley….there’s nothing here for a date night or family outings. It was so disappointing to see Davenport and Championsgate become so developed and beautiful way before Poinciana, when it’s been around longer! I’ve lived here for 20 yrs and always wondered if it’s the APV or Mark Maldonado that intentionally kept Poinciana looking like a slum. Thankfully builders like Taylor Morrison came in and are putting in the work to raise the standards around here!

I certainly agree… we need more roads and stores and restaurants that are known. Certainly not a crunch or a Five Below. Really!! We could use another Publix at a Kroger. Thank you.

ROADS! ROADS! ROADS! ROADS! ROADS! ROADS! ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS ROADS!

    PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  25. Is there a TD bank coming to this shopping center?

  26. I would like to see more roads in and out of Poinciana. Pleasant Hill, Cypress, Poinciana Blvd, South John Young need more lanes. Roadways should be a priority with all these new homes and shopping developments. There are many people whom are not retired and need to have better ways of travel. Thank you.

We need restaurants like, IHOP, First Watch, Olive Garden, Panera Bread, Applebees, Bob Evans…Notice: many people in in this area are complaining that we need roads, but if we have above mentioned restaurants along with major grocery chain stores like a Target, BJs/ Coscos, Winn Dixie/ Publix, we wouldn’t have to get stuck in traffic coming or going to the The Loop in Osceola Parkway or Posners’ Mall or Championship Gate both in Davenport. Pionciana have many residents waiting over 20 years for a mini mall. Build it, and we will definitely be active customers because we save time and gas money. Thank you so much for getting feedback from your future customers.

  28. The roads in and out of poinciana are bad especially poinciana boulevard being only two lines with a 55 mile an hour speed limit posted some people are doing 35 and you can’t pass… Restaurants here are the pits to go to Haines City Davenport to eat… We need a Miller’s ale House or outback…

We need a food court for international foods. A room wall /area with a bulletin board to address the needs and availability of people in the community. Example some one need a job, can post their add up with contact info. People looking for work can find it easily. etc etc,. Some things done the old fashion way is beneficial for older folks.

  30. Very happy this small mall at list we could work with something. What other stores are coming, can they bring a Texas Roadhouse, Apple bees, Fridays, or olive garden. Question? When is it going to be finished?

  31. It would be nice to have a Publix, td bank, Costco, Winn Dixie, steakhouse. We be all happy and a movie theater.

  32. Is there an updated list of all the stores coming?

  33. I’m very excited for this plaza to be completed.
Some suggestions for stores would be Taco bell, chic fil a, target, sephora, chillis, Applebee’s, bath and body works, acai bowl, movie theater, famous footwear, Nike, panera bread, starbucks, party city, and best buy.

  34. As a reminder and resident. Besides all the stores, they should have a Winn Dixie!..

  35. Need a hotel, movie theater and better roods.
