Global financial services company Rothschild & Co. has signed a lease for a 5,000-square-foot office at the upcoming 830 Brickell tower in Miami’s Brickell Financial District. The 640,000-square-foot Class A+ office tower, designed by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill with Revuelta Architecture International as the architect of record and developed by OKO Group and Cain International, is over 90% leased and is expected to complete construction later this year. Civic Construction and Ant Yapi USA are general contractors, with G&E Florida Contractors as the shell contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers as the structural engineer.

Rothschild & Co. is one of the world’s largest independent financial advisory groups, with 3,600 employees in 40 countries. The firm will join a lineup of world-leading companies at the 830 Brickell tower, including Microsoft, Citadel, Kirkland & Ellis, and Thoma Bravo. The tower has become the address of choice for inbound banking, finance, technology, law, and professional services firms. Over 90% of its tenants are new to the Miami market.

The tower boasts 55 floors and is the first new standalone office tower in Brickell in over a decade. Italian architecture and design company Iosa Ghini Associati designed the interiors. The building amenities will include a world-class health and wellness center with panoramic views, a first-class restaurant, an open-air rooftop lounge, a private conference facility for tenants, and 24-hour concierge service.

Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord and tenant in the deal, with Brian Gale, Andrew Trench, and Ryan Holtzman representing the landlord and Scott Quick and Alan Wildes representing the tenant.

The opening of the Rothschild & Co. office in Miami is part of a broader trend of new-to-market companies establishing a presence in South Florida. The addition of this global financial firm to the tenant roster at 830 Brickell indicates the continued growth and development of Miami’s economic and business landscape.

  1. I live in the building right next to it. In the last 8 months there has been zero progress. I doubt it would complete in 2023. There was accident with 6 workers and I believe till lawsuits are settled, they can’t move forward. The west side of the building is plain ugly, looks like prison, wish you’d post that photo too, not just the glass covered east side. We are sick and tired of this construction in Brickell.
