Plans Submitted To Miami-Dade County for 81-Story Dolce&Gabbana Tower at 888 Brickell Avenue

Plans have been submitted to Miami-Dade planners for the Dolce&Gabbana Tower, an 81-story mixed-use skyscraper designed by Studio Sofield with ODP as the architect of record. Located at 888 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Brickell district, the tower is set to rise 1,049 feet and will house 259 residential units along with 102,805 square feet of commercial space, including retail, restaurants, a spa, and a gym. The development, led by JDS Development Group, will also include 273 parking spaces, reaching the maximum height permitted by the FAA in the area.

Miami’s Building Department has issued a site work permit for Villa Miami in Edgewater, marking a significant step forward in the development process. The permit, issued on August 2, comes with a revision filed on the same day and allows for excavation, piles, site improvement, and soil improvement. Moss & Associates is listed as the contractor on the permit, covering 22,000 square feet of work at a cost of $66,000. An application for a master construction permit is also in progress, detailing a 358,944-square-foot building with 7,723 square feet allocated for a restaurant and 351,221 square feet for residential space at an estimated cost of $62,817,300 is also in progress. A seawall permit with Ebsary Foundation Company as the contractor, valued at $480,000, is also under review.

BHI, the U.S. division of Bank Hapoalim and a full-service commercial bank, announced the provision of $35 million in predevelopment financing to Naftali Group for JEM Private Residences, a 67-story mixed-use tower planned for 1016 Northeast 2nd Avenue in Miami, Florida. The over 700-foot-tall development will include 259 condominium units, 530 multifamily rental units, 3,259 square feet of ground-floor retail space, and 283,863 square feet dedicated to parking.

The ultra-luxury project, developed by OKO Group and Cain International, is located at 175 Southeast 25th Road within the secluded and scenic South Brickell enclave. The development has swiftly moved from market entry to construction commencement in under five months, establishing a record pace for South Florida. This marks a significant milestone in Naftali Group’s expansion into Florida, as JEM Private Residences aims to set a new standard for quality in the region. OneWorld Properties is the exclusive brokerage, with Coastal Construction as the general contractor. DeSimone Consulting Engineering is the structural engineer, and MG Engineering D.P.C. is the MEP engineer.

A recent submission of site plans to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board has revealed the design for Two Riverside, a proposed 59-story mixed-use skyscraper at 99 Southwest 7th Street in Brickell. The design, created by Brandow Haw Architecture with ODP Architecture & Design as the architect of record and developed by Newgard Group, showcases a slender, 730-foot-tall structure. It is set to offer approximately 520,631 square feet of space, encompassing 271,605 square feet of residential area across 169 units and 1,090 square feet dedicated to ground-floor retail. The adjacent One Riverside project will provide the necessary vehicle and bike parking, where Newgard Group is also developing two other towers, including the 44-story Lofty Brickell. The proposal is scheduled for review on November 15.
