UHealth Has Plans for a New Medical Facility at 8375 Northwest 53rd Terrace, Doral, Florida

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) has big plans for a six-story healthcare facility in Doral, Florida. It’s called “UHealth at Doral.”

The state-of-the-art development will comprise 150,000 square feet of new construction. UHealth reports that the facility will offer various care services, including cardiovascular and hematology specializations.

The venture could cost more than $80 million to complete.

The venture has many goals, but the main one involves expanding UHealth’s regional reach. Currently, its network includes three hospitals and more than 30 outpatient facilities.

Sources note that the venture’s first phase has already reached completion. The first phase offers an 18,000-square-foot facility focusing on cancer and urological ailments. It opened in September 2022. The second phase could finish construction in late 2024. It could cost $85 million to complete.

The development will expand UHealth’s reach in the area.

As noted, the University of Miami Health System owns the venture. Codina Partners Corporate Headquarters is the developer. Robins & Morton Group is the general contractor. These companies are based in Florida and Alabama.

UHealth at Doral’s address is 8375 Northwest 53rd Terrace, Doral, Florida, 33166, in Miami-Dade County. The medical facility is west of Florida 826 and north of Florida 836. Google Earth’s renderings show that the building site is currently vacant.
