Not only is Tampa one of Florida’s tourist hotspots, but it’s also one of the most desirable places to live. Enter the Gallery at South Tampa. Intended for seniors, the community will comprise 202 homes. Seniors Housing Business notes that there will be 30 cottages, 45 assisted living apartments, 89 independent living apartments, and 38 memory care suites.
Experience Senior Living (the developer) reports that the development will comprise just over 240,000 square feet of new construction. Communal amenities comprise an on-site beauty salon, fitness center, saltwater swimming pool, movie theater, bar, and more. There will also be 24/7 medical professionals on staff.
The venture will be located in this general vicinity.
Lantz Boggio Architects and Senior By Design are the architects. Conceptual renderings online show multiple low-rise buildings with spacious parking spots. The Gallery at South Tampa will rest on a build site measuring 17 acres.
Our sources note that construction will start in June 2023. Core Construction––Sarasota Office is the general contractor. Other involved parties include Snell Engineering, HT Mai, Inc., and Johnson, Levinson, Ragan, Davila, Inc. They are the structural engineer, civil engineer, and MEP engineer, respectively.
The Gallery at South Tampa will be Experience Senior Living’s seventh Florida community. It will be located at 5049 Bell Shoals Road, Valrico, Florida, 33596, in Hillsborough County.
