Located at 161 Northwest 28th Street in Wynwood, a one-acre development is set to take shape as Bel Invest Group, an international real estate investment and development entity, collaborates with Diesel, the renowned Italian fashion and lifestyle brand, to lay the groundwork for the Diesel Wynwood condominium project. Envisioned by the esteemed Zyscovich Architects, the eight-story structure will occupy approximately 323,633 square feet, comprising 159 residential units and a substantial 15,889 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Nestled on the northern boundary of Northwest 28th Street, between Northwest 1st and 2nd Avenues, the development’s site stands directly opposite its existing sales center. Moss & Associates LLC is the general contractor.

Permits were filed on April 19, 2023, and while plans have not been approved yet, the filing discloses that the permit will facilitate excavation, pile installation, and site and soil enhancements. Additionally, the developers recently received approval from the City of Miami to install dewatering wells, gearing up for the forthcoming groundbreaking. Vertical construction permits, submitted in December 2020, remain pending and are currently under review by the private provider, Pacifica Engineering, as indicated by Miami’s Building Department permit records.
