Construction on the second phase of Driftwood on Central has started in St. Petersburg, Florida. But what does this expansion entail?
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the addition includes five mixed-use buildings. This will bring the total number of residences to 11, as the first phase entailed construction on six townhomes. Those residences have already sold out, and they cost around $875,000 each. New Home Future suggests that they sold for about $375.82 per square foot.
A 2020 article suggested that the townhomes measure 2,270 square feet to 3,990 square feet each. Per CityBiz, in-unit amenities include nine-foot-tall ceilings, quartz countertops, and plank tile flooring. The mixed-use buildings will offer unique space opportunities for remote workers and freelancers.
The St. Pete Development Company is the developer. It’s led by Julie Kessel, who purchased the vacant build site in 2019. Other involved parties in Driftwood on Central include BSB Design Inc. and Canopy Builders LLC. Premier Sotheby’s International Realty is the marketing representative.
Driftwood on Central is located on the northeast corner of Central Avenue and 29th Street in St. Petersburg, Florida, 33713, in Pinellas County. The venture is west of Florida 275 and directly north of Fairgrounds St. Pete.
