Fort Lauderdale could be home to the first Staybridge Suites in the region. Designed by Adache Group Architects, the eight-story venture would comprise 124 rooms, offering “clean lines and minimalistic and functional features.”
The rooms would include king studio suites to two-bedroom double queen rooms. Each one would come with a kitchen and access to a shared laundry room. Guests could also host socials three days a week.
Upon completion, the venture would comprise more than 92,000 square feet of new construction. The extended-stay hotel would offer a fitness center, fire pit, outdoor lounge, and breakfast area.
The South Florida Business Journal reported that the build site was currently home to the Sky Motel, which offers 16 rooms. P & S Hospitality Group has the property under contract. Per South Florida Business & Wealth, the developer hoped to break ground on the new hotel in spring 2023, with the opening planned for winter 2024.
As noted, Adache Group Architects is the architect. Inspire Design says it was also chosen to design Hollywood Courtyard by Marriott, a 13-story venture with 112 guestrooms.
If the venture comes to fruition, Staybridge Suites’ address would be 1531 S.W. 26th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33315, in Broward County.
