Marlowe at Gandy is a garden-style multi-family development unfolding in St. Petersburg’s Gateway area. The community will offer nine buildings, measuring three to four stories above grade.
Per County Precast, LLC, they will not exceed 60 feet tall, made easily accessible with elevator shafts. In total, there are 425 homes. Site plans show that five of the nine buildings are clustered around various communal amenities, including two swimming pools, a courtyard, and a clubhouse.
Plans also call for open green space and two multi-story parking garages. Marlowe at Gandy will rest on an 18-acre site that’s part of a large 93-acre build site. St. Pete Rising notes that as of February 2022, Jabil Inc. owned the site and was under contract to sell it to an affiliate of Greystar Real Estate Partners.
Twenty percent of the units (85) will be set aside as affordable housing units, available for those making less than 120 percent of the area median income. At the time of publication, Rentcafe noted that rent in the area averaged around $1,900 for a 872-square-foot apartment.
Marlowe at Gandy could open as early as 2024. The venture’s address is 2790 Grand Avenue, St. Petersburg, Florida, 33716, in Pinellas County. It’s west of Florida 275.
