As it stands, Society Las Olas stands 34 stories above grade and offers close to 650 residential units. Now, developer PMG and Greybrook Realty Partners have secured finances for the construction of a second 563-unit phase.
Multifamily Housing News reports that upon completion, the two-phase two-tower community will feature 850,000 square feet and more than 1,000 units total. Sources note that the second phase at Society Las Olas will offer 1,625 square feet of ground floor retail, and communal amenities include a yoga lawn and pool deck.
Residents will gain access to a proprietary app that enables keyless entry. They also have the option of renting traditionally or engaging in co-living options where they rent rooms with other tenants.
At the time of publication, groundwork had already started on the build site, with construction expected to end in the first quarter of 2026. John Moriarty & Associates is the general contractor. FSMY Architects + Planners designed the second phase. The Fort Lauderdale-based organization has more than 15 active projects, mostly in the residential and commercial sectors.
Society Las Olas’ second phase has received a $226 million in construction financing to begin constructing the project.The venture will be located at 140 SW 2nd St., Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33301, in Broward County.
