Construction’s set to start soon on the Concord, a Class A multifamily housing complex in Sarasota, Florida. The venture will offer 257 one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom housing units spread across multiple four-story buildings on an 8.45-acre build site.
Per Multifamily Housing News, units feature in-unit laundry rooms and walk-in closets. Select units come with balconies and integrated smart home technology. Communal amenities at the Concord include a dog run, pet spa, swimming pool, an outdoor entertainment center, and a Starbucks café.
The venture aims to meet Sarasota’s growing housing market.
There’s also a private sky deck with a fire pit. This aspect will overlook the Sarasota Celery Fields preserve. Thompson Thrift is spearheading the venture. It recently proposed the Quinn, another multifamily housing complex in Pensacola. Overall, the Concord is the developer’s 11th Florida project.
If all goes according to plan, construction on the Concord could end in the fourth quarter of 2024. Multifamily Biz notes that Sarasota has one of the hottest housing markets in the state right now, growing by 15 residents a day from 2010 to 2020, per Sarasota County.

The Concord will be located at 203 Synergy Lane, Sarasota, Florida. Interstate 75 is less than a mile away, and the state’s capital is about 40 miles away.
