Kaplan Residential is moving forward with plans for a six-story mixed-use venture in Wilton Manors. Generation at Wilton Manors will offer 190 residences. Per the Real Deal, they include 15 studio units, 80 one-bedroom units, 77 two-bedroom units, and 18 three-bedroom homes. They will measure 635 square feet to 1,199 square feet each.
Communal amenities include a fitness center, club room, pool deck, and co-working space. Generation at Wilton Manor will also comprise at least 5,000 square feet of commercial space, along with 300 parking spots.
Sources note that Kaplan Residential has had the 2.92-acre build site under contract for five years. It’s currently home to The Yard, which offers three restaurants and various stands for local artists.
The owners were encouraged to sell and have the opportunity to return to Generation Wilton Manors’ commercial space after construction. A 2022 report from the South Florida Business Journal noted that Kaplan Residential hoped to break ground by September 2023.
Generation at Wilton Manors is Kaplan Residential’s first major South Florida project. MSA Architects is the architect. Renderings suggest a mid-rise garden-style community where upper-floor units come with balconies.
City records list Generation at Wilton Manors’ address as 2430 NE 13th Avenue, Wilton Manors, Florida, 33305, in Broward County.
