In 2022, Florida YIMBY reported on the 93 Ocean, a high-rise residential tower planned for Surfside, Florida. Now, our sources indicate that the project is one step closer to fruition.
Per the South Florida Business Journal, the 12-story tower will replace Regent Palace Condominium, a 34-unit complex erected in 1951. Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management purchased the 37,456-square-foot build site for $64 million this past week.
The 93 Ocean will offer 27 large units, with floorplans ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom designs. Conceptual renderings show that the high-end housing developments feature oceanfront views, high-end plumbing fixtures, and marble countertops.
Two of the rooftop units come with private swimming pools and terraces. Communal amenities include a steam room, sauna, clubroom, reflecting pond, resistance training swimming pool, and a lot more. At the time of publication, our sources did not indicate how much the homes would cost.
Yet, according to Redfin, the average home in Surfside runs about $630,000. Our sources also did not disclose when construction would begin, although the 93 Ocean’s website notes that the homes are “coming soon.” Arquitectonica is the architect. The Miami-based firm has many other active projects in its pipeline.
The 93 Ocean could soon unfold at 9317 Collins Avenue, Surfside, FL, 33154, in Miami-Dade County.
