Vertical construction has commenced on Wynwood Station, an eight-story mixed-use development in Miami. Located just 2.4 miles from the downtown area, the venture will offer 210 luxury homes, measuring 567 square feet to 1,036 square feet each.
Floorplans include studios to two-bedroom units. In-unit amenities include quartz countertops, frameless glass showers, and stainless-steel appliances. Common-area amenities feature a pet spa, golf simulator, and residents-only lounge. Plans also call for an indoor and outdoor fitness center.
Sources indicate that the project features more than 11,000 square feet of commercial space. There will also be six levels of enclosed parking for both residents and visitors.
Florida YIMBY reported on Wynwood Station in 2021, when FRC Realty (an entity of Chicago-based developer Fifield Companies) proposed the mid-rise tower. FRC Realty has partnered with PGIM Realty on the multi-million-dollar project.
Developers secured a $66.9 million mortgage in 2023, per the South Florida Business Journal. They purchased the 1.41-acre build site for $19.5 million in 2022. Prior to groundbreaking, KAST Construction demolished some commercial buildings. Google Earth shows that the site housed some Sunbelt construction equipment.
Wynwood Station is slated for a 2025 completion at 45 NE 27th ST., Miami, FL, 33137, in Miami-Dade County.
