Construction Starts on ‘the Sora Vista Apartments’ in Palm Harbor, FL

Johnson Development Associates has broken ground on the Sora Vista Apartments, a residential development in Palm Harbor.

The garden-style community will offer 264 residences, measuring 800 t0 1,400 square feet each. Future residents can choose from 11 floorplans, offering one-bedroom to three-bedroom layouts.

Communal amenities at the Sora Vista Apartments include multiple co-working stations, a dog park, swimming pool and lounge, walking path, and fire pit. At the time of publication, rent information was not available, although these will likely be at-market units. RentCafé notes that the average monthly rent for a 959-square-foot apartment in Palm Harbor is currently $1,780.

As noted, Johnson Development Associates is leading the project. The South Carolina-based firm has developed close to 30 ventures in Florida. It partnered with LandSouth Construction as the general contractor.

LandSouth Construction hopes to finish the project by late 2025. The Jacksonville-based firm also worked on Integra Tymber Creek, which Florida YIMBY reported on in June 2023.

The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that Charlan Brock Associates designed the Sora Vista Apartments, working alongside civil engineer Kimley-Horn and interior designer Gas Lamp Design.

The Sora Vista Apartments will be located at 35953 U.S. 19 on the corner of Fox Chase Boulevard in Palm Harbor, FL, 34683, in Pinellas County.

  2. I cringe whenever I drive by here just looking at the destruction of any natural space which is very few and far between in Pinellas county SMH. When are the greedy government going to put a moratorium in place to save the last remaining natural spaces in our county??
